About Taste of Tribeca

Lower Manhattan’s Original Food Festival

What originally started as a block party from a loading dock on Jay Street has grown into a serious food festival. Taste of Tribeca now spans Duane Street, from Hudson Street to Greenwich Street, and from Jay Street to Chambers Street.

How It Works

Each year on the third Saturday in May, the heart of Tribeca fills with over 60 neighborhood restaurants, bakeries, and even our local firefighters from Hook and Ladder Company 8!

Don’t like food? Weird. But, okay. It’s free to walk around and explore the event, there are free activities for kids and live music…you can pop into shops and support local businesses…and let’s not forget one of our favorite booths, the amazing Taste of Tribeca merch tent, with cool t-shirts designed and illustrated by a PS 150 parent.

If you do like food. Yay. You can purchase an individual ticket, which includes six “Tastes” from booths run by local restaurants…and by taste, we mean a generous serving of global culinary delights from some of the best restaurants in New York City… For an unforgettable experience, consider Premium Seating under a tent, where you can enjoy exclusive wine tasting and table service.

Proceeds from Taste of Tribeca directly support students at PS 150 and PS 234. Funds provide weekly instrumental music, science, chess, and dance classes, educational field trips aligned with classroom studies, and additional in-class support.
